A Catch Up With Wes Morgan, from Rock Solid Distribution

Hey Wes, thanks for taking the time out of your busy trade show period to have a chat with us!

Remind us when and how Rock Solid Distribution came about.... 

Rock Solid started in Feb 2009, after I left Out Of Step. Its been a long journey but I wouldn't change a thing I am really stoked on how I have grown with all the brands I work with. I am really proud of the team of people that now work at Rock Solid and have really helped the company grow up.

What's new with Rock Solid, any news from the existing brands you carry we should know about? 

There is going to be lots of different lines coming from Diamond Supply Co which will be very limited edition and available in certain stores. All the board companies have lots of footage to release this year. Oh and something very exciting is happening at Primitive but that's all I can say right now.

What was the last product that came through the Rock Solid headquarters doors that you were really stoked on?

I am stoked on all the product that comes through the doors, I really liked the Diamond Supply Co - Simplicity pack Umbrella and I really liked the new series of Isle boards.

So we're early into 2014 but which UK skaters do you see big things for this year? 

I think its going to be a really good year for Chris Jones, Tom Knox and Glenn Fox

Finally, we know you're a skater yourself (#doesyourdistroevenskate), what current setup do you have on the go?

I am ridding a Isle - Sylvain Tognelli Lee Marshall - Artist series 8.125 deck, SML Wheels - 52mm wide 98a, ACE Trucks 03's with bones bushings. Diamond Supply Co - Smoke Ring bearings, Diamond Supply Co -7/8th Mike Carroll pro bolts. Grizzly Grip tape.
